Flood Damage Problems
Heavy rains over the past few years have caused some unexpected floods in areas that were previously unaffected.
External blocked drains & rising water levels in rivers can allow water to build up and enter properties.
Water escapes inside a property can cause severe damage to ceilings, walls and floors, notwithstanding the damage to personal items and the upheaval this can cause.
In order to determine the extent of the damage caused by flooding, it is sometimes necessary to strip plaster back or lift floorboards to check concealed timbers.
Assessing external drainage may require the services of a Drainage Contractor. The cause should be rectified before any repairs are carried out.

Our Surveyors are fully qualified to CSRT and our fully trained Joiners can carry out the appropriate repairs, tailored to your property.
We use a Flood and Fire Restoration Company to assess the type of drying equipment necessary to dry the property and they can monitor the drying remotely if required.
We will identify the extent of the water damage and base the report on the initial inspection.
We can also carry out localised exposure work to help define the extent of the water damage behind framed or plasterboarded walls for example, which would be helpful for budgeting/insurance purposes.
The detailed recommendations for your particular property are within the report you will receive after our inspection. The report will be tailored to your specific problem. The report would identify the cause of the water damage and who should repair before works commence.
Our report will give a detailed step by step of what we recommend. The works are carried out by our own employed full time served joiners.
Our Operatives will arrive with appropriate P.P.E before entering your property.
Other trades are subcontracted to the same trusted Companies we use on a regular basis.
On completion of the works, we will issue our invoice and forward a copy of any drying certificate.
